The authentic Napoli style pizzeria in Tokyo

The NPO, Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana(AVPN), is founded with the aim to familiarise the authentic Napoli style pizza in the world. AVPN has a list of its authorised pizzeria. From the list, I introduce nice pizzerias in Tokyo.

The following restaurants are authorised by AVPN in Tokyo.

– from AVPN’s official website

1. Partenope Ebisu

This is a cozy Italian restaurant in Ebisu. You can enjoy the authentic Napoli style pizza and the mood of Napoli.

This restaurant’s menu includes not only pizza but also a variety of anti pasto(starters), pasta, and main courses.

Total budget is JPY6,000-8,000 per person, including drinks.

2. La Piccola Tavola

It is located in Eifukucho(永福町) which is a residential area. The access to the town takes approximately 10 mins from Shinjuku by Keio line, or from Shibuya by Inokashira line.

The pizzeria is a more casual place than Partenope. I would recommend this place, if you just want to enjoy a nice pizza rather than to have many side dishes or main courses.

The pizzeioro, Mr. Simone Sarnacchiaro was born in Napoli and moved to his favorite city, Tokyo, in 2014. All his family members have been engaged in pizza making, so it was doomed that he started to make pizza when he was only 14 years old.

Total budget is JPY4,000-5,000 including drinks.
